Hamby Holidays

We had a wonderful holiday season filled with family and friends!

Thanksgiving weekend we had Brooks dedicated at church with all of our family and friends there to support our commitment.

We hosted the Hambys at our house for Thanksgiving lunch then had dinner with the Gouger's at my grandparents house.

Christmas was crazy busy but wonderful!

We made it to Rock City's Garden of Lights for dinner with Santa despite the chilly weather and had a great time decorating gingerbread men and sipping hot chocolate.

We hung out with the elves and had the all important visit with the man in red.

Courtlin and Mark creating a gingerbread house. It collapased because she kept eating the icing.

Christmas at my Little Grannie's house. It was so special to have our entire family together and the fact it was Brooks' first Christmas made it even more special.

We went to Mark's sister's house Christmas eve for holiday fun with the kids' cousins.

We went to FBC for the candlelight Vespers service Christmas eve night. It is my favorite church service of the year (minus the lack of a nursery requiring both kids to stay with us during the service :).

Courtlin totally was into Santa this year and went to see him every chance she got. He must have been listening because he filled her request for a pink house and Barbie Fashion Fairytale. She was kind enough to tell Santa that her little brother wanted a "tar" and a guitar was of course delivered.

We made it though the snow Christmas morning to get to my parents' house. It was a beautiful white
Christmas!

Courtlin and Brooks love it anytime they get to see therir cousins Reese and Jude!
We also had a special fun trip to the Opryland hotel to see the Snow exhibit. Courtlin was in Christmas heaven!

2010 has been a truly blessed year for us: Mark started his job at UTC and is loving working with inner city kids while getting his Masters. I finally finished my FNP. We welcomed our beautiful baby boy  Brooks to our family and Courtlin is loving her role as a big sister.
